NCOMPUTING X550 Kit

The NComputing X550 desktop virtualization kit enables you to dramatically cut computing costs by sharing the untapped power of your PCs. The kit's PCI card, access devices and NComputing vSpace software work together to efficiently harness excess computing capacity and enable multiple users to share a single PC. Each kit adds five users to a PC, so with two kits a total of eleven users can share one PC simultaneously. And each user gets the full performance and capability of a PC, including multi-media and full-screen video.

Monitor mounting XD2 access devices have built-in mounting holes to attach to the rear of a monitor with
VESA compliant mounting holes. Two screws per XD2 access device are included.

Each X550 kit adds five users to a shared PC. A maximum of two kits can be used with
one PC to get a total of eleven users (five for each kit plus one on the PC).
Supported Software
Most PC applications* including browsers, e-mail, office suites, media players, educational
software and more. Supports multi-media and full-motion video, but is not recommended
for intensive 3D software.

One X550 kit includes five XD2 access devices, one full height PCI card, vSpace software
installation CD with user's guide, Quick Install Guide, and 10 mounting screws for monitor
mounting. Shared PC, PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse, speakers, Cat 5e/6 cables, and other
peripherals are NOT included and must be purchased separately.
